I have a 70 Gallon tank and I recently gave my fish away all except for a frontosa.

Now im thinking of going for this combo

1 or 2 frontosa

2 peacock bass

2 discus

do you think this combo could work?

The tank is looking real good, just decided to go for a few plants with some moss growing over the bog wood and the lava rock.

Discus won't work and i think most peacock bass grow to large for a 70 same with th fronts but it would take a while. Maybe the bass and fronts could grow out in it togather. I don't think the discus would work for any amount of time with either.

Thats what i thought but if you look in the internet there are alot of examples of discus with both. and in smaller tanks! maybe ile have to rethink this then

I would forget the pbass... Focus on either the fronts or the discus but not both. Fronts love the rift lake set ups with harder water and higher ph while the discus love soft acidic warm water. A nice planted setup with discus could look great... Just do your homework and commit to it... And that advice is good for any setup you try. Good luck

the pbass in there would be like a bull in a china shop, trainwreck ect. not at first but in 8months or so when the bass are 10-12" .also verry agressive feeders . never raised discus ,i though discus are somewhat timid.
