It's a 13inch reedfish living now for two weeks with three 0.5-1inch dwarf puffer's and a 4inch halfbanded eel.....As you can see in this photo these two hang out all day like this, even cuddle up together at night time

hey i have just recently bought a reed fish he's only bout 9 inches though, and is getting on great with my cichlids i have abit of agro at first but now they all know where they stand they are good! i have had 1 problem with my reed fish tho he got out of the tank and was on the floor slivering about luckily i found him in time and got him back in the tank and sealed the hole he got out of haha,
yes reed fish are escape artists, best kept in groups but i cannot find any more locally,that makes them more active, however since mine paired up with the dwarf he is now always out, before two weeks ago,you never ever saw him, all my tanks are escape proofed, as i keep channa the kings of escaping ive proofed every single tank
yes see thats my thoughts...but he eats blood worm/pellets and does not even look at them in that way,

not somthing id risk but, ive always found reedfish to be very well behaved with smaller tankmates.

I've never had problems with aggression with rope fish, I've only had problems with them eating anything small. With a puffer, he'd be a goner once he did.
