Im doing some buying overseas and came across this guy. im still new to FH's so im asking you guys for opinions as far as what you would pay for it, quality, and how much of that color is actually the fish's and not some lighting thank you

Kok isn't that good.. neither is the body shape.. Fins are okay. That fish probably has a yellow hue to its body.. that or a peachish hue.. Pink light really makes it hard to make out things.. IMO theres better ones out there. This Malau is okay..
 
I wouldn't pay anything for it, I despise FH sellers that purposely use NAN lighting to artificially enhance the color of their fish.
That's fine for someones personal tank (if that's what floats your boat) but IMO that type of lighting has no place when sales are involved.
 
so by your guy's response's there is NAN lighting being used? And if i did get it what color do you all think it will really be? does it have potential and could great care color him up better? And actually i dont have the hundreds of dollars to spend on a masterpiece or show winning FH. All im looking for is the nicest i can buy for under 200$ this fish happens to be in that range. i bought 3 others from different sources and thought It would be smarter to fit one more on the shipment to save money on shipping versus getting it down the road and paying another ship fee. Im Curious as what i should look for?? im not really interested in the Red dragons ATM, i like the flower line, dragon tears, and the reds and pearls. thank you.
