There is 20 ibs of live rock on top of crushed coral on the right side a hole drilled in the baffle (divider) that drains into the bucket filled with pot scrubbies and the water drains out of the top of the bucket.

i don't know much about saltwater and am still building my sump but IMO i would drill a hole in the bucket around halfway down and rig a drip plate so you would have the scrubbies above the hole working as a wet/dry (p.s. post this in the ghetto pic thread:grinno:)

im no salt sump pro... but id switch the liverock and the scurbbies.. just looks backwards... also seems like lots of wasted space in the sump

thought about that but i don't really have anything for a drip plate at least that i can think of right now.

What if i put the scrubbies in with the live rock ?

Then i could use the left side for cleaner fish that my other fish in the main tank would eat for breakfast.

Or would this give me a poor filtration job.

Water should pass through sponge and floss before anything else. Remove the small and large particles o insure the sump remains clean.

I am cleaning the sump tomorrow so that would be a good time to fix anything i am doing wrong.

I'm sorry but that is complete garbage
Well I'm sure it gets the job done but it looks absolutely horrible
Is there anyway you could make it more aesthetically pleasing
