I recently purchased a product called proper pH made by aquarium pharmaceuticals has anyone ever used this before? any good or bad reviews on it? I see it has a dechlorinating agent in it... I already use deCHLOR.. will this cause a problem? Does anyone use or prefer pH increaser over this one?
Thanks guys;)

What exactly is the problem your trying to cure?

And with what type of fish?

I never use chemicals to adjust pH. They're too much of a hassle to maintain. Instead I use aragonite, limestone, crushed coral, and/or oyster shell to buffer my tanks (pH up). Or, RO and peat to soften my tanks (pH down)

We use a powder, I don't remember exactly what brand it was. It's a dechlorinator and corrects the pH to 7. My wife uses it for all of her turtles and frogs and in our platy tank. I have mopani wood in my tank that helps keep the pH around 7. (My TAP is 8)

I have used it in the past 7.0 for Ca cichlids and 8.4 for my African cichlids
it works fine keeps the PH right on as long as you keep up with water changes
and add it every time. I stopped using it only because of cost

I don't care for those type of products. Like Oddball I prefer more natural methods but even still I have not yet had the need to adjust my pH so I leave it the way it is.
