What do you think the out come might be??

Hey heres the issue my 6inch tem i just noticed had my almost 5inch botia in its mouth. Only thing showing was its tail. What do you think will happen???

you will have a dead bottia and i would keep a close eye on the tem...maybe some salt if theres any damage on him

There is going to be a dead loach. Possibly a scuffed up mouth on the tem.

Tail is still hanging out and its been about 3hours

dang...if your very skilled at it,then pull it out.
with loaches its especially risky and you could kill the fish doing it.

Was going onto 4hours so i netted him grabbed the loaches tail with vise grips and just held the tail and the bass started to shake and everytime it would shake alittle more came out. It ended up coming out smoothly. Bass sat on the bottom of the tank for awhile but today hes back to normal looking for food. Loach was dead as thought, i think he bit of more than his stomach could handle.
