will cost from glasscage? 60" x 12" x 16" or 72" x 12" x 16"? Thoughts? Comments?

no idea on cost but just as a thought/comment why would you want that long of a tank with that little width? you'd really be limiting yourself with your stock, but i guess maybe that would be good for african cichlids or something? just curious

agreed. you will kick yourself everyday until you get a wider tank.

NCStateFisher and nes999 both have good valid points. I do agree with both of them. I would get a tank with a front to back distance of no less than 20 inches. If it less than that you're really going to be limiting yourself on the amount of fish you can keep.

The more front to back distance you have, it will provide a suitable area for CO2 produced by your fish, to escape, thus providing a more efficient and happy environment for your fish. I hope this helps with your final decission.

footprint in my opinion is the most important, i agree go alot wider if at all possible.
i've got one thats only 12 inch's wide, and it's very limited on stock.

I'm assuming he's trying to fit it in a specific space in his home. It would be fine if he wanted to keep a small community fish tank, 12" width is way more than enough for 2" fish... oh wait this is MFK! :)

Wow you guys are tough. I am putting in a baby humpback whale... think it will be alright there for six months? :chillpill:

Correct, the spot in my bedroom doesn't allow for more than 12" width. This tank will be used to a male amplilophus citrinellus and female xilo until my RTC outgrows his 120 gallon which shouldn't take long. When that move takes place I will either do a Malawi Peacock tank or native salt water tank (tog aka blackfish, seabass, flounder, sea robins, lizard fish, etc.) Now that I answered everyones ?, how much you think it will cost?

My guess would be 300-400 bucks based on what their 72x18x25 costs. maybe cheaper, why not just contact them for a quote?
