I got a free 29 gallon biocube, I was thinking of drilling it and hooking it up to a sump. Am I just being silly? should i just leave it as is?

but doesnt the filtersystem that it has almost act like a built in sump?

It acts like a wet/dry. The difference being that a wet/dry in a sump keeps the water level in the tank the same all the time. plus a sump will add more capacity and allow for me to put in the heater in there. I just like not seeing any equipment in my aquarium. but you are kinda right I could prolly use it the way it is and not have any problems.
