Ive been thinking about this for weeks and cant decide what to get. I either want a small colony of fronts and calvus, or some datnoides. Right now they would be going into a 55gal and as they grown move them to a 125 that im working on. I like the looks of both fish, but cant decide. tell me what ya think

yeah i have some calvus already and i like the looks of them too. lol its a hard choice, theres only 1 place that i know of that i can get dats at though and they dont stock them regularly. do you think that a 125 will house them for life?

125 is small if you want a big group of dats. I like the Tanganyikans better, especially the altolamps

I found with dats its either 1 or 3,4 way to many pissing matches with just 2 of these guys . But they have the best personality next to oscars mine are great , beg for food and cant wait for me to come up to the front of the tank lol . Very slow growing fish also a 125 would last a good long time

how long does it take dats to get half grown, i know they grow slow but hiow slow?

had one for a year that went from 2.5 to about 4" sloooow growers , almost painfully slow
