Hey i am about to get a 125 gallon. and i was wanting to know what i could put in it. i am a big south american cichild keeper. that is what i want to keep what do u think. any info would be helpful

How about a larger SA community? A couple big cichlids, maybe sevs or uaru or something, then a group of large tetras or silver dollars of something and then some cats for the bottom like pictus or some other pimelodella or something, maybe some plecos

yeah that is what i want to do yeah what kinda pleco would u think would be the best i really like gold nugget plecos

Depends really on what youd like, do you want big or small fish?
Colourful?
Agressive?
Mellow?

Personnally id go for soe geophagus.
Also a great idea, but for some reason I blanked on Geos while I posted the last one, and I even have a Geo myself.
Something like a pair of larger cichlids-I like Uarus and have been thinking about getting some for a while. Then for the bottom you could do maybe 6 Geos. Also maybe a BGK as long as the cichlids chosen aren't too aggressive for one. As far as plecos, I'd probably just get one nice larger one, or a few nice medium-sized ones. I think a royal pleco would be pretty cool.

I'm planning on doing something like this when I get a couple larger tanks. Right now I have my buffalo knife and I'm growing out a really nice little green sev. I also have one young Geo, but once I upgrade them at least to the 120, I'll add a few more geos (probably a couple more brasiliensis and then some jurapari). Eventually, if I get a big enough tank for the SAs, I'd like to add some rays as well, but that will be a while.

Id go with odd balls personally. so much more personality and weird amusing traits

Sa/ca cichlids have plenty of personality. Josh man put what you have in the 75 in the 125 and a group of loaches and then buy that pair of jags you've wanted since you got your 75.
