I'm trying to go a little more natural with my 75. How do you guys like this set up?

I usually take better pix than this, but I was in a hurry. These pix were also taken just after a water change so please excuse the cloudiness of the water.

holla back!!!

Looks pretty good mate, but if you want a more natural look, you should probably get wood that doesn't look like it has been neatly cut with a saw, 8). It looks good except the neatly cut wood looks outta place.

I don't mind the sawed off piece of wood anywhere people have been you can find perfectly cut piece of wood in nature. I would plants and get a black background. NIce start though.

I have the black background and am planning to put it on soon. I may try some plants but my fish always have their way with them. Gotta love cichlids!

Thanks for the input...any other suggestions?

With Oscars and the like I usually go more "rock garden" style, than planted. They like stacks of sandstone, and with the right color contrast it looks just as nice as a planted.

Well, if u can cover sawed off wood with moss, it'll be more natural.....
...but i guess i will add more rock...coz IMHO, oscar and planted tank seems don't fit very well....

It depends on the oscar, I had a group of 7 that left plants alone as long as they weren't too close to their territorial mounds.
