What do you guys think of a School of [FONT=arial,sans-serif][SIZE=-1]Hujeta, In a Custom 4x2x1 (LxWxH)
That gives a nice size swimming area for them,
also will give some "footprint" for my Catfish and Clown Loach,

im thinking something along the lines of 6 Hujeta,

I personally love Hujeta's, but for catfish I say no. If your going catfish also, and since your getting a custom tank anyway, I say go for like a 5ftx5ftx18" tank. That will ensure you for almost anyfish that you want. Any cat anyway... That is what i'm going to do when I upgrade.

But is the tank i noted big enough for a school of hujeta (6) and a school of Clown loaches(3-5?)

Thats why i went for more footprint then height.. neither fish needs the height,

For a school of six that maybe a little small. Id say 4x4 for all of them for life. Thats with the clown loaches. I like the idea tho.

i think you would be fine. maybe make it 2'-6" wide? but you should be fine. also maybe just do 3 or 4.

i have 4 right now, but a guy that lives in my town has 2 and they are badly underfed, so i want to get them put them in quarintine fatten them up and add them to my school...

if theese 2 werent being mistreated id stick to four!!

in that case then i would say they are a lot better off with you in your tank.

If they all get to the 12inch mark, it will probaly be crowded in the [FONT=arial,sans-serif][SIZE=-1]4x2x1

But if they all stay around 9 or something, i doubt they will but if they do, i think the home will be nice and cozy

Besides, a slightly smaller home is better then dead fish!
