Looking for something cheap. I don't have acrylic on me...I was thinking rectangular foil pan, but that seems like a noisemaker.

How cheap you talking? I just made my own out of mirror backed acrylic, but I see you don't have any.

If it were me and I really didn't care what it looked like(as long as it worked), I'd look around the dump for some random plastic. Could be the bottom of storage bin, a big tupperware container, whatever. Heck, even a piece of thin plywood, or luan would work for a while.

How big of a piece do you need?

Home depot sells thin pcs of acrylic/plastic
I just grabbed a 24X30 sheet for 12bucks
You might be able to place a thin sheet over an egg crate or something in that area

If you don't want to buy a piece of acrylic, then you could use the bottom of a tupperware/rubbermaid container. Heck, even the bottom of a kitty litter pan (washed, of course). Just drill a couple hundred holes and you're good to go.

If you don't want to drill a lot of holes, look for a piece of Plastic pegboard. I think it comes in a 2' x 4' sheet, usually white.
