Other than the usual running up and down the glass or following you, do any of your fish do weird things to grab your attention?
One of my male f1 septemfasciata has figured out that throwing small rocks into his powerhead to produce the horrible "there is something stuck in the powerhead" grinding sound gets my attention.

My flowerhorn daisy will float at the top of the water and act like he’s gasping for air. He only does this when I walk into the room or when I’m laying in bed. Any other time he just digs in the rocks, gets mad the heater, filter or bubbler or sits in a cave but the second im in the room instead of freaking out and swimming like most fish do my guy just goes to the top and acts like he can’t breathe.

My Congo Tetras only nip each other when I’m in the room, no joke! Sparky will give me the ‘silent treatment’. When I walk into the room, he glass surfs over to his corner, and sits their. I leave the room and he swims out. A minute later, I walk back and he does the same thing. He does this only on feeding days when he’s hungry.

All my various catfish have to do is come out of hiding as they do once and a while and cruise around the tank.

My Oscar will bite the top of the water so it makes a loud pop like he just ate a beetle. He will do this over and ovr while I’m feeding the fish in the tanks near him and then jump up and knock the lid off/ into the tank if the first tactic doesn’t work.

He will stop only once I hand feed him something.

My Oscar will toss his ball out of the tank or throw water and pellets all over the floor. Enough that I have to mop up. Or he bangs the glass lids open. Happens every time I'm not in the fishroom for long periods.
My parrot Tango will swim upside down or come up in the corner to stare.
Mt parrot Patch will swim up then float on her side before sinking back down.
My rainbow Pepper will shake and do a body snap when I go into the fishroom.

Kind of off-topic but my fire mouth is a p*ssy so he's too scared to come up to the top and eat the floating cichlid gold pellets, so he just waits for the blood parrot to attempt to eat it, but since the BP's mouth is too small, he will keep on spitting it out. Therefore my fire mouth keeps on following my BP around to cherry pick on the pellets the BP spits out.
