I have two seng. in a 75 and they look like they are scratched.. One has a line and the other has a small circular area...I only have two river rocks in there, and one of the "texas hole" rocks. I dont think the bristlenose is messing with them, would a four- line be able to bite them?

I really don't know what their skin looks like if its been damaged is the main problem...

a circle...could be the pleco trying to suck thier slimecoat off them.

Yea thought about the pleco but it really doesnt seem likely..

The scratch sounds legit, not sure about the circle though. Pics would help. Mine got a scratch when he flipped out due to a loud sound.

Why doesn't it seem likely? Happens all the time. I've only actually seen it happening a couple of times, which I put an end to immediately, but I've seen seen the damage done countless times.

My bichirs get slight scratches from time to time. It's really more slime coat that gets scraped away exposing some skin rather than actual damage to the scales.

Bichirs are clumbsy fish and they run into things. I would be surprised if it bumped into the holey rock and got a circle shaped scrape.
