bloody food

what does that mean.

like any fish that feeds on other fish and not mammals it can affect its digestive system if fed lots of meat, as an occasional thing it may be ok but not a mainstay of its diet.

I'm trying to grow out some 2" - 3" 'ers and am alternating store bought frozen beef heart (brand name escapes me) with krill, blood worms, and the occasional treat of live black worms. They snarf 'em all down. Health appears fine, and I've been doing this for almost four months now. (I'm knockin' wood big time! I just discovered this dat forum today and have read too many tragic tales already. That poor guy in Cambodia(?) that lost six in a day . . . I'd be drunk for weeks!)

I feed mine chicken hearts, shrimp with shell,,..here he is..very healthy:naughty:
