What does everyone feed their pleco?

What species of pleco? They have different dietry needs.

Assuming it's a common or one of the Pterygoplichthys species then a mix of algae wafers/tablets, fresh veges and occasional meaty treats. They do enjoy meatier foods, but if they are fed only that they can get digestive problems. But occasional feeds or scavanging leftovers from the other fish is fine.

Try weighting down a chunk of zuchini or cucumber with a fork and leaving it overnight. Take out whats left in the morning.

Cheers

Ian

As Ian says hard to say if you don't know the species, but I would say that's not enough.

Ditto... Different sp. have dif. dietary needs.

I was having trouble with mine "enjoying the slime coat of my O" but I began varying the diet and I started feeding the Hikari Tropical Carnivore and it seems to be taking them great...stopped the slime coat feeding....and also started feeding vegetables too per the feeding sticky.

keep an eye on it, it's usually a problem that won't go away or will resurface in time.
