What does importing fish all entail? #1

I was curious on what all importing fish entailed? Are certain licenses needed here in the states, also, how would one locate a fish importer from out of the states?

What are you trying to import? The usual route for most people is via a transhipper. They have the licences/paperwork required to receive fish coming in to your country from elsewhere. Seller of fish sends to transhipper in their country, that transhipper sends to transhipper in your country, and transhipper in your country then sends fish to you.
