I was curious on what all importing fish entailed? Are certain licenses needed here in the states, also, how would one locate a fish importer from out of the states?

to recieve shipments of live fish and plants from other countries i believe u need a licence. anytime ive ordered from foreign countries i go through a transshipper in this country who is licenced to recieve fish. they then repack and ship to me.
idk how big the market is for them but there are only like 6 transshippers i could find in this country seems like if you get the licence u get paid to repackage. probably like becoming a notary, will cost u some upfront, but u make a little all the time with it. just might look sketchy if u start getting huge packages from south america all the time and send out lots more little packages lol

Im curious on how you find these actual importers of "wild caught" fish? Is this a tight knit group or am i googling wrong lol
