Check your spelling and you'll find more info. There are so many different biotopes in Lake Tanganyika that you have to check the particular niche of whatever species you decide to maintain. Here's a little info about the lake:
Lake Tanganyika is estimated to be the second largest lake in the world by volume, and the second deepest, in both cases after Lake Baikal in Siberia. The lake is divided between four countries ? Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania, and Zambia. It is the largest rift lake in Africa and the second largest lake by surface area on the continent. It is the deepest lake in Africa and holds the greatest volume of fresh water. It extends for 418 miles in a general north-south direction and averages 31 miles in width. The lake covers 20443 sq miles, with a shoreline of 1136 miles and a mean depth of 1870 ft and a maximum depth of 4822 ft (in the northern basin) it holds an estimated 18,900 km³. It has an average pH of 8.4 and a surface temperature of 77°F. The lake holds at least 300 species of cichlid fish and 150 non-cichlid species, most of which live in the benthic zone (near the bottom).
