Hello.

This is my first post and I was just wondering about this forum.

I know that sometimes when someone refers to a " Monster" tank, they are talking about predator and/or aggressive fish. Such as Arowana, Oscars, Piranhas, eels, etc...

I was just wondering if this forum was focus on this type of tank.

Thanks.

On this forum the monster refers to the size of the passion of the fish keepers in my opinion. In other words it's a pretty diverse community and anything and any size goes, so if your passions small tetras to arapaima this is the place for you. What ever your fish keeping passion you'll find info and experienced help at your disposal. With that said welcome to the forum.

on this page monster actually refers to your craziness about fishes.by adding monster before fish you are making yourself proud of keeping monsters at home

According to me, "Monster" in monsterfishkeepers means big, ferocious, predatory. But still people here enjoy every kind of fishes and other pets, for us size wont matter(even if it is the smallest fry or even the largest arapaima). Every one here(including myself) loves to help other peoples out. Have fun.....;)

To me, the monster in MFK refers to the mentality of the keepers. We do it bigger, better, badder than anyone else. The dedication is total. The obsession is complete.

Remember, the website' name is Monster Fish Keepers.

Monster can mean several things to different people. I keep some pretty mellow South Americans so I don't keep "Monster Fish" but I have a MONSTER passion for the hobby and IMO that's what matters. This site has somthing for everyone. Welcome to MFK!
