I was just wondering what does soaking pellets in garlic oil do for your fish??? I see a lot of people talking about, but never knew what benefits it has.

I have read that people mostly do it to entice their fish to start eating pelleted food.

I imagine their may be some nutritional value there as well, but I'm not sure.

I don't do it - never owned a fish that only ate live or would refuse food altogether.

It's just the scent thats used to make non-live food more appealing, it is also good for their digestive and immune system or so I have read.

Sounds good. Did you hear if it would make your water quality go bad???

It shouldn't affect your water quality at all. Many fish food manufacturers use it as an additive to stimulate appetite and increase metabolism.

yea. what they said :D
