What Does This Mean And Was It A Good Buy????

i got a 3" flowerhorn for $8. he looks like a baby form of this but without the long dorsal fin.

i got a baby fh and he is 3" what doe sit mean when they peel how do they ppeel what does a good peeled fh look like
i am just wondering.they had him marked at $8 and looks like a fantstic fish.i could not pass up the price.i heard they peel or something.what does that mean.i heard if they peel alot they are worth alot of money

Some of the pictures that you have posted are high quality FH (especially last two pictures), I am sorry to tell you but for the price that you paid, and especially if from LFS, you got a common FH that will not look as good.

mine looks like the 2nd from last pic.just fins are not as long and a lil bit less red.he already has a big bump starting.can see alot of pind on the bottom and near top of head.it was on hold.but i con'd the owner into letting me have it cuz he likes me

Okay, first of all if the second to last pick was the one you say you got for $8, that would be a good pick up. About the peeling. Not all flowerhorn peel. Your classic Zz strains and Golden Monkey do not peel. So none of the fish that you posted up here will ever and have never undergone a peel. Not that that is a bad thing either though. Lastly, I believe this is a JOKE!! First of all, the small totally photo-shopped pic you posted is for sale on Aquabid. Secondly, that last pic is of a competition grade Golden Monkey, and not even a moron would ever sell for $8. Not to mention that that fish is being sold on ebay as we speak. Seller has the price set at $245.95 Also the location of the fish is in Rollen Hights California and I believe that is Skinny's shop if I am not mistaken. Your locations reads that you are located in Wisconsin. PLease let me know how that could be possible... haha funny! Man, if you like the fish and just want to get people's opinion on them, why don't you just ask. Instead of saying they are at your local fish store they are across the country and belong to other people!

dude read instead of jacking my threa.i said mine looks like all the above.i did not say they were at my lfs did i no.they one that is photo shoped i said i seen one that looked like one for sale for $8 ,plz read and not be an ass.this lfs did not even know what a flowerhorn was.so yeah it was funny you could prob walk in with a million dollar fish and they would not know there employees stink i catch the fish.

there is your quote check it yourself not try to jack anything or be an ass. Sorry if you mean something else change it then Was also trying to help you with your question about peeling by letting you know that not all FH peel. Stated that RD ZZ's and Golden Monkey do not peel.
