So cal
I've never kept aquatic plants and I would like to, I don't have any aquarium lights would sunlight be ok? I know there would be lots of algae but I like the natural look.

I heard java moss and java ferns would be ok in the situation like this, are there anymore plants that don't need a lot of light and are hardy?

Look into the Walstad method. It uses sunlight as a supplement and is a very low-maintenance tank.

anubias are pretty easy. slow growing and ur gonna need some sort of algae eater to eat algae off the leaves. that was the problem i had with my anubias. other than that they are easy to grow

Chain sword is by far the easiest plant you can possibly own. It grows very quickly and will double or triple in size in 6-8 weeks. Any other questions feel free to PM me I have a ton of planted tanks and can give you any advice you need.
