I made a thread not too long ago about what you guys thought would be a good saltwater eel for my 29g biocube. I had almost started to set it up when I realized that it was too much trouble trying to figure out how to make the protein skimmer fit onto it so I decided to call the 29 gallon off.

I decided instead to begin setting up my standard 75g for salt which would give me more of a choice in the way of eels so what do you guys think would be a good looking and interesting eel for that size tank? I also may be wanting to add one Panther Grouper to the stocklist so an eel that would get along with one of those would be better but Im still open to the idea of just an eel. Any feedback is greatly appreciated:D

Or any other good fish? Im open to all suggestions

I think a 75g is too small for a panther grouper. They get 2 feet and are messy.

As far as eels go, I'd recommend a dragon moray. They can be in a tank as small as 75g and are pretty beasty looking

and for the low price of $550 they are readily available. And panther groupers grow to 2 feet in the wild, they stop around 16" in captivity from what I have read

Im actually thinking about going for a Miniatus Grouper instead, it looks incredibly beautiful

My price range for a single fish is up to $80
