What eel(s) would you keep with a carpintis (if any)?

As the title says, what eels, if any, would you keep with a carpintis? The tank will be upgraded to a 200gallon+ in 2 years but for now it's very planted withe plenty of driftwood and rockwork. If I were to get an eel, there is a decent spot where I could lay down some 4-5" pvc piping for a hideout.

Any number of large eels would work

Fire and tire track are two spiney eels that would do we'll just make sure the eel isn't big enough to eat the texas cichlid

the fish are all about 1" right now.. they just came in... how large would I want them to be if I added a 6" eel?
