What else can u feed a gator gar apart from regular fish food ?

I have a 1ft long healthy gator gar. I've been feeding him brine shrimp, bloodworms at times, some protein hikari feed & live feeder fish. However, I went out today to get my cat some food; the link is below:

If u check out the ingredients of this dry feed, it's very good. Fine it's for cats but would it also be alright for my gator gar ? I gave him 5 small pieces & he polished them up in a flash. The feed is in the form of large-sized pellets, just like large-sized pellet fish feed. Any thoughts plz ? Thanks in advance.

At that size I would start him on smelts. Shrimp. Talipia or sole all found at the grocery store

Cheers matey. However, I wana know if the cat feed I mentioned is alright for my gar too ? It contains fish & veggies & other good stuff. What's ur opinion ?
