i have three ornatipinnis, 1 delhezi, 3 x Geophagus brasiliensis and 3 pike cichilds.

just wondering what would look nice in with them as some sort of main fish?

its in a 5 x 2 x 2 bow front 450 Litres

I would not put more fish in the tank, i expect its a Juwel aquarium... The Geo's grow really large. If you dont wanna wait til the fish grow big, get an Arownana!

But they grow over 3ft!! my tank only 2ft wide.

hmm if you ran great filtration you might be able to get away with one of the vieja species...just make sure it isnt the blackelt variety

i have the Eheim External Filter 2028, but there are plants in the tank.

And now I just noticed you're first post says 3 pike cichlids and your signature says 3 severum. Which one is it?

i did try pearl arowana but that lasted a day before i had to take it back, it was strange coz the LFS had it in a tank with discus and it behaved it self fine.
