What else does gar's eat?

Aside from small fishes, What else does gar's eat?

Mine is is just about 4 inches only.

Definitely have a look around the forum. This subject has come up a lot. Members describe how they were able to train their gars to feed on:
crickets
mealworms
FD krill/plankton
floating aro sticks
fish pellets
frozen shrimp (mysis & raw market)
etc.

I've had no problem getting a couple of gars eating pellets nad market seafood.

they can even eat dogs wen they get big enough. then again, i do too...mmmm yummy....steamed in soya sauce....
