i got a green terror in a 20 g growout, i feed him nls large fish formula as staple hes around 3 inches and his colors look great and hes super active and feisty. he also gets freezedried krill and hikari gold atleast once a day. do i have to incorporate some type of live food or im good for now? also w/c 25 % twice a week

You certainly do not have to incorporate live foods. NLS + Hikari bio gold is an excellent diet and you should be fine. I've got a 3" in a 55 right now and he is one of the most active fish I own haha. I can't wait for him to get his adult colors.

Feed him a larger tank! :p Jk

I feed nls, omega one, and xtreme. Those three are quality foods and then frozen brine or blook worms like once ever two weeks for my entertainment when I had Cichlids.

Lets see a pic!

I believe you don't need to incorporate live food, but I feed my cichlids live earth wurms and I would definitely suggest it. The fish absolutely LOVE them. Plus you can dig em up right in your backyard. Just make sure to wash all the dirt off and you should be good. I've never known a fish to deny a wurm.

I'll also feed the larger ones crickets and other bugs I manage to find in the yard. It's really cool to watch their instincts kick in.

for now i should be good right? i meen when he prob doubles in size ill start incorporateing it but i just dont want too cuz hes so small and idk lol, ill post a pic hold on guys. and hes getting his own 40 breeder in a few months :p (dont dare say thats not big enough for one GT)
