My tank has a 6" Bluegill, 4" Red Dragon Flowerhorn, 3x 4" Yellow Labs, and a 15+" Common plec. I feed Cichlid Bio Gold+ and TetraColor. I would like t know what else I should throw in there. I am picking up some algae wafers and Frozen Bloodworms this weekend. I want my flowerhorn to get a nice sized KOK so I should befeeding some fatty foods no? Any help on this subject would be appreciated.

meal worms/super worms, krill, just good pellets, if theyll eat peas I do that too, occasional bloodworms, ha my rd will eat pieces of turkey when I make a sandwich. I would just not feed too much live or fatty foods..only time ive had problems is when I did that.

All my fish are changing over when I get my 125, the FH, Plec, and Bluegill are going to the 125, then the 55 is going to be turned into a Mabuna tank, the 20 growout tank is going to be for my frogfish I am getting, and the 10 gallon will be for grow outs...phew, and yeah I know to not feed a ton of fatty stuff, I give the FH earthworms as treats sometimes, he loves those. I will try some peas, I will also try and pick up some krill too. What else is good?

My Loaches really like frozen Hikari spirulina brine shrimp & frozen Mysis shrimp. You could also try canned snails from the grocery store or pet store. Also, no fish can resist Hikari freeze-dried blood worms.

Can't beat good ole live feeders for growth and over all nutrition.

IMO a high quality pellet is better as a staple than ive foods in general

Actually.... As long as the feeder fish aren't goldfish and they are gut loaded with a very high protein food the they are more nutritious than pellets.
