Simple question. What are you dosing and how often? Ps, I'm running co2 if that makes a difference.

Personally i use iron and multi bottom fert sticks which get replaced every 3-6 months, and also added liquid iron and other trace elements when my plants look like they are slightly lack luster..,

Do you have a lot of red plants? I don't have a test for it, but I know my well water has a lot of iron. It will leave rust stains on the concrete.

I use flourish trace and iron. I also have DIY co2 set up on my larger planted tank.

Better question...what ferts AREN'T I using 
Root tabs, osmocote plus generally, as well as gro-soil tabs, and a ton of dry ferts, enough to fulfill EI requirements and then some added things like Iron (10% chleate I believe) and GH booster.

I have a low tech planted tank about 50 par rating with various low light plants. I just dose seachem flourish and have seen consistent growth.
