I am looking for suggestions for a filter brand and model for a large fish tank that I have in my basement. The tank is approximately 850-1000 gallons depending on the depth that I keep the tank. I am going to be keeping native fish species from the area. I plan on having 1-2 largemouth bass from a hatchery, 1-3 crappie (black or white), and a channel catfish. I will start with young fish so that I can see them grow. I would like to have my tank somewhat overfiltered because it seems to give me piece of mind. Alsokeep in mind that I am on a budget. I am also a frequent ebay user and would also like to know if anyone has used any of the models that sell on ebay. Thanks in advance to anyone who could give me any information!
