I have not heard the best things about them... maybe someone can chime in. Maybe a Rena XP3? I own one... but I actually haven't used it! It seems good quality and I hear good things, and you can usually find them cheap. If money isn't an issue... Eheim supposedly makes great smaller canisters (and bigger ones too).
