What fish is this? Flowerhorn?

I just picked up this little guy at Petsmart labeled as a 'Red Texas', I know a lot of them are turning out to be flowerhorns. What kind of fish is this guy? I've never seen one like this. Nice greens and reds. Male? Female?

Even though it's much darker than those others? He's about an inch and a half.
