What type of fish, The guy at the pet store told me it was a Pike, So i assumed it was. I came back a few weeks later and noticed all of the pikes there are way different. They all have pointy snouts and there color is much darker mine was always this color even coming for a pure black tank, He is also super aggressive and is incharge of my whole entire tank. So what fish is this?

Thats about right. i got mine for $8 and i sold it for $10 now i have a belly crawler thats about 6 inches and i love him. Also had a columbian pike and what an *** it was. Becareful because all pikes demand their space
i'm 16 and love to fish and just got into this hobbie. Im obsessed lolIm at 36 gallon right now beautiful bow tank with oak stand. I need to get a job so in about a month ill be at a 125 gallon tank. Lol i cannot wait. I accidentally bought a red tail catfish without knowing about there size... Bad mistake lol
well everyone makes mistakes early. If the pike is a sveni they dont grow large. 125 is a great tank size if your gonna keep cichlids. Enjoy
