Granted, I made this on paint, so bear with me...

I was walking around the campus of my university, when I crossed a bridge and looked into the water. It was full of large cichlids, with the traditional american cichlid shape, but very nice coloration. They were sort of a tan/brown color with turquoise stripes running down their sides. Very nice looking fish. If the school doesn't mind, ill try to catch some. What fish do you think it is. By the way, I am here in south florida, so take that into consideration.
