!!!what fish shall i get!!!

I have a 80 gallon tank with:

1 oscar (8inches)
1 tinfoil barb(6 inches)


and i was wondering what type of fish i could get

medium sized pleco, or convict.
I wouldn't try anything else personally, oscars get rather large, and coming from personal experience, can be very territorial. i have mine in a 6' tank with a jack dempsey and a small mayan and pleco. He still flares up and once and a while snaps at my jack. Until you get something 6', i wouldn't add anything else.

and its still 8", still has around 6" to grow and mature. Mine wasn't this bad till he hit around full size. I also had 3 oscars in this same tank, and they got a long ok, but still would fight pretty bad sometimes.
Dovii's can be shy and timid also.
What are the demensions of the tank?

I would find a home for the tinfoil cos they get too big for an 80g and they really need a shoal to be happy. i would imagine your 80g doesnt have the best dimensions, anything less than 6x2x2 is not so good for tinfoils, especially a group of them.
I would look for some smaller upper level fish such as filament barbs or some denisonii to get some movement going and they are too big for the oscar to eat.
I would also look at a bottom dweller such as pictus or bichirs, maybe even loaches of some kind. all would have to be a reasonable size of course to counter act the oscars eventual size.
