Or should i get a solo fish like a midas or something, i need to make cash, money is tight because my parents just bought a house and we have 1 sister in college not making much money, my other sister going to college in a year and a very always sick dog. 6 people in my family. Wow way off topic anyway, what should i breed? I have a naturally high pH in new jersey, what's a rare high pH fish everyone wants?

well i breed guppies but yea i know what you mean you want a a fish that is making you money

there are very few fish that you can breed for a considerable profit that you dont have to invest in alot first.

ie. zebra plecos. quite easy to breed but a 2" baby wil cost you $100-$150 and they wont breed for a while.

angels- you would have to find high quality angels in order to make money off of, regular angels you looking at $2 for a quarter size. Angels pairs will be very big by the time they breed and need a large tank for just a pair.

ect.

yea if you start out breeding to make money your going to be nothing but disappointed. Thats why theres more importers then breeders. Very rarely do people get to a point where they even break even for they originally laid out to start the project.

Seems like you need a high amount of money. You'll never be satisfied with breeding fish. But if you just want to make a few bucks (which is really all you can make in your case) then I suggest breeding african cichlids from Lake Malawi. But you'll need a tank of at least 50 gallons to get going as they breed pretty readily. But because of thier easyness to breed they aren't worth too much. Like I said, only breed fish if you want a few extra bucks, unless you can aford several zebra plecs, or other high quality fish.
