What fish should I put in with a Green Terror?

I am greatly considering getting a large male green terror or a mating pair of green terrors for my soon to be empty 90 gallon. What fish (a large unique fish) would go well with him/them?

I'm considering things like a firemouth, marble goby, fire eel, etc. Let me know what you think. Please give me some cool suggestions of awesome fish that are unusual and/or beautiful.

I have a Texas with mine and they compliment each other quite nicely

I would think any mild mannered American cichlid would work. Maybe try a couple Jack Dempseys !

i have mine with Thorichthys passiones at the moment and so far so good. I'm keeping an eye out though because I have no idea how this combo will work over the long run.

i had a small one with a blue acara, severum and a chocolate cichlid.

i kept a tigershovelnose cat and an oscar with mine...

Many of the fish you all listed might get killed and some are too big. I'm not a big fan of bichirs.


So far the winners are texas cichlid and pike cichlid.
