I had initially posted this in the cichlid area because thats what i was thinking about adding, but I am not set on a cichlid. just looking for a suggestion that would work with my current setup. I am looking for something to disperse the aggression my gourami has for my green terror which is why i was thinking a cichlid, but a dither fish or school might work too.
The current captives in my 240 gallon tank:
1 red tail giant gourami - 12 inches
1 green terror - 7 inches
6 endli bichirs - between 7 - 12 inches
1 ornate bichir - 11 inches (might look to rehome this fish)
1 delhezi bichir - 7 inches
1 asian upside down cat fish - 8 inches
1 black ghost knife - 10 inches (might look to rehome this fish)
my gourami hates my green terror. he doesnt do any damage and the green terror used to stand up to him. but now he has become dominant enough that the gt just swims away and hides most of the time. I think if i had another cichlid or two that would be the best move, but something fast enough and big enough not to get eaten or killed might work as well.
I did get a few cichlid suggestions, but what would work outside of a cichlid?
