I have been thinking about restocking my 125 gallon tank!

I was hoping to get fish that won't outgrow my tank. I have 2 mono PBass and a hybrid cat right now. The monos are 3" and the hybrid is 6". Word on the street is I'll have to rehome the Pbass. I knew I was going to have to sell the catfish since they get huge.

Anyway, what are some awesome fish that I can keep fully grown for life in my tank? Anybody have any suggestions? And maybe provide some compatibility comments? Thanks!

Steve

Haha I don't feel comfortable shipping fish. I mean I'll keep these guys a while, but just getting a head start for when the time comes. I want to keep the Pbass as long as I can.

I understand that. Just be careful not to keep them so long they become stunted. They are supposed to reach 2.5 feet or so. I think geos would be pretty to have.

i agree bichirs and geos would be good. but you can't realy get anything until that cat is gone, as that thing will eat anything that isn't it's own body length and even then it's likely to try. in fact, if it's a RTCxTSN hybrid and your pbass are only 3", they may become snacks if you don't keep an eye on the growth

Oh I know the P's are actually catching up with the way I've been feeding. And frontosas are the only cichlid I actually like. What are festaes and rtm's?

If I kept these 2 guys in my 125 only, when should I rehome them? How big should they be? Or can I keep them? Which I'm doubting.
