What fish you have with your gulper cat?

Ive got a breeding pair of cons about 3.5in and two of their offspring 1.5in and 1in. The fry both grew up in the gulper tank from about .5in. The pair I threw in a few weeks ago after tearing down their spawning tank.
This is with my three gulpers at 7-10in.
The cons seem to be to smart and quick to get eaten. The cons will come out when the gulpers take a rest and hide away, but once the gulpers come out to play the cons retreat to the smaller hideouts in the tank.
The fry even survived being with an Hepstus Odoe African Pike before that fish got moved.
In any case the cons are only in there because I wouldn't mind as much to lose them and currently low on space.
