I am constructing a indoor pond that is 5 ft long and 3ft wide and 3ft deep. I have 3 turtles soon to be 4, and i can't decide what fish to put in with them and it is a warm water pond not a cold or brackish. I am all ready concidering red dragon flowerhorn chiclids does anyone have any other ideas?

I have a pink bellied sideneck turtle, yellow bellied slider, painted turtle, and getting a blanding's turtle.
I can't really decide and a question for zoohouse I haven't purchased my blandings turtle but i am considering a different one any suggestions
My 12" shell RES turtle eats any fish I put with him besides feeder guppies. I dumped in 2 males and 2 females a while back just because my little container garden sprung a leak and never put them back. They are so small that he doesn't care about them, and he loves to devour rosies, goldfish, and convicts given the opportunity. Now the 4 guppies number around 50, and they eat all the algae both in the tank and off his shell, as well as cleaning up after the turtle.
Get a nice shoal of large cichlids, with moderate aggression. Oscar Cichlids, Red Devils, Peacock Bass, and Severums, may make a good choice. Select whichever that pleases you.
