I wouldn't.
http://medikoi.com/ medikoi is medicated food. "powerful medications" long term medication isn't a good idea, it creates drug resistant strains of micro-organisms. look it up, it can (and is) getting ugly, and humanity may not win.
you could raise crickets or feeders. or serve them fish from the grocery store. or catch your own and freeze it.
costs money to keep big fish. if you want a cheap to run tank, switch to guppies.
 
If you go to a farm supply store (here in my city, they are called Farm & Fleet), they sell 20 and 50lb bags of catfish, or bluegill pellets for less than 0.50 cents/lb. Trout chow is a bit more.
