Saw these today at the lfs and was hoping someone could help out with a positive id. Probably around 8".

Thanks. They had it identified as an alligator gar, which I was pretty sure it was not.

Aw I miss my Florida spotted gar. He found a spot in my lid and jumped out on me while I was at work. It was too late by the time I got home
If you get one, make sure there is absolutely no way for him/her to get out!
