What gender is this devil?

i have a 5 6 in red devil cichlid and i cant tell if it is male or female. i think it male. i added a for sue male red devil about 5 6 in left for a bit and
about 1 hour later my other red devil bet the crap out of this new guy. im wondering if i have to males together. poor male is in bad condition and
im trying to treat him. please tell me what gender it is. (big head male beat up)

First of. introducing 5 inchers of these fish usually regardless of sex u are running a risk. ur first pictures looks like a female. venting only sure way. the bottom one is the weirdest thing ive seen lol i cant really tell on that one. Ill be as bold as to say u actually have two females.

just vented them they are both females. bottom vent is bigger than anal. the poor female with big head diffident survive poor thing.

High quality fish store, not from petco or stuff like that, i suggess stay away from them
