what gender is this dovii

the store siad that it was a male, i truely belive that it is a female, all the eggs died btw 
, i think that this was the one that laid them, her egg tube is huge, i belive that i have two females, her colors were awesome, ever since ll the eggs died she went looking like this, i think i am going to put my male wolf in with the two females and see if he likles either of them although he is only 4.5-5" long, do you think that he would still spawn with a female that much bigger than him? she seems to be about 8" long

yup it is a female start feeding your male alot and grow him up before you throw him in there. Dovii grow realy fast if fed well no need to take a chance with his life
Sexing dovii at a young age is next to impossible, males and females are very similar in appearance and color. As they mature males will start to develop blue spots on their gill and blue begin to show up in their fins. The beginnings of a nuchual hump also become visible in male But going on the pic and i have a female i would say female. This is my one with her eggs
