so i have a pair of convicts whose first time breeding i have fry and i wake up and i sew the male almost dead so i get him some what healthy after in the q' tank and she attacks him when the fry is still in the tank why is she doing this and how can i stop it?

You can't really "stop" this behavior. QT'ing your male really is the only real option. This could just be due to an inexperienced breeding pair. Perhaps behavior will improve with subsequent batches.

okay thanks so when should i put the male back with her...should i remove the fry?

once, the fry is removed, things probably will go back to normal. they'll for sure breed again, and you can check up on the parents then. Sometimes, one of the parents will "take over" the batch and kick it's partner out. Once they both mature, this behavior may change. you just have to test it out. good luck!
