My FH had extremely long fin trail until his was about 6 inches. I had him in a 55 until he got to that 6 inch mark and then moved him into a 75. Right about the time i moved him his fin trails seemed to shrivel up and just disappear. He was with some African Cichlids for a short period of time and they nipped at his fins while he wasnt looking but they never tore them off. He has never had any diseases so it couldnt be fin rot. They looked really nice and i want to know if i can get them back.

Africans are known fin nippers,
That's sad since they take a while to grow

I dont believe they are responsible for this because i saw what they did. They just tore his fins they never ripped anything off. They were a lot smaller than him so anything they did healed quickly
